Welcome to Hemei High School, the pride of Hemei Township and the only high school serving our vibrant community. Located at the intersection of Taichung and Changhua, two major cities in Taiwan, Hemei High School offers a wide range of educational programs through our junior high school, junior high school supplementary school, senior high school, and the senior high school division of continuing education.

Our History

Founded in 1947 as a branch of Changhua High School, Hemei High School has grown over the years. In 1956, we became a joint branch of Changhua and Lukang High Schools, and by 1957, we became independent and were named Changhua County Hemei Junior High School. With the start of nine-year compulsory education in 1968, our name changed to Changhua County Hemei Junior High School. In 2013, we added a high school department, making us the fifth county high school in Changhua County.

At Hemei High School, our goal is simple: "Bringing up leaders for a better future." We aim to help students become leaders who can make positive changes in their communities. We encourage our students to love their local area, think globally, and keep learning new things.

Our Educational Approach

Our school offers regular classes and special sports classes, which focus on track and field, volleyball, and martial arts. This allows us to meet the needs of all our students, whether they are interested in academics or sports.
